Mireille Hurts, candidata de CIUDADANOS a la alcaldía de Teulada-Moraira, anuncia su postulación a los vecinos y vecinas del municipio

Estimados vecinos y vecinas de Teulada Moraira...

El pasado 6 de noviembre 2022, acepté, oficialmente, la responsabilidad de encabezar, como candidata a la Alcaldía, la lista que el partido CIUDADANOS presentará en las próximas elecciones municipales de Mayo 2023, en Teulada-Moraira.

Esta decisión, que he meditado durante mucho tiempo, viene avalada por mi total vinculación, durante hace ya más de 30 años, a la población de Teulada-Moraira que me acogió con los brazos abiertos y mi hizo sentir como en casa desde el primer día.

Cuando mis compañeros del partido me propusieron encabezar la lista, vi la oportunidad de devolverle a esta población, con gratitud, su hospitalidad y cariño, con los que se me han tratado siempre y no me lo pensé dos veces, debía aceptar ese reto y trabajar por este pueblo, de mi marido e hijos, que se ha convertido en el mío con los años.

Desde mis raíces holandesas nunca he podido ejercer el voto en unas elecciones Autonómicas ni tampoco nacionales, cuestiones que, entre otras, me han empujado a tomar esta decisión. Siempre entendí la política local y municipal sin idealismos políticos, más bien al contrario, siempre la he mirado desde la participación, el trabajo y el sacrificio personal por solucionar los problemas de los ciudadanos y ayudarles a convivir, satisfaciendo sus necesidades más primordiales sin necesidad de recurrir a excesivos impuestos.

 A principios del 2020 me afilié a Ciudadanos, cuando anteriormente nunca había pertenecido a ninguna fuerza política ni vinculada a la Administración Pública, pero en Marzo del año pasado tuve el honor de participar, como Embajadora (de la ciudadanía Europea), en mesas de debates en el Parlamento Europeo en Estrasburgo (con 3 temas de actualidad, como el Cambio Climático y Medio Ambiente, Democracia y Derechos Humanos y una UE fuerte en el mundo). Allí pude, junto con otros, casi 100, “embajadores”, de diferentes países miembros de la UE, aportar opiniones, ideas y propuestas para un futuro mejor de los ciudadanos Europeos y proteger sus/nuestros valores, derechos y libertades, tan únicos en el mundo (deseados por muchos), y conseguidos con el sacrificio y esfuerzo de las generaciones de nuestros padres, abuelos y bisabuelos. Creo poder aprovechar esta (y otras) experiencia, de dialogo y debate constructivo, para mejor y regenerar la gestión municipal, en este caso, la de mi pueblo Teulada-Moraira.

Desde siempre he trabajado en el sector privado, por cuenta ajena, en empresas medianas y pequeñas, y por cuenta propia como autónoma, siempre en el sector servicios, comercial y administrativo. Conozco los sinsabores y el esfuerzo que diariamente deben hacer unas y otras. Actualmente, desde hace 8 años, y junto a otros compañeros, me dedico a la Administración de fincas, experiencia que me ha enseñado a conocer las problemáticas de nuestros clientes, ciudadanos que tienen que lidiar con los problemas económicos y sociales actuales. Así, he aprendido del esfuerzo en equipo desde una actitud proactiva, al servicio de los demás, consensuando decisiones, a gestionar Comunidades de propietarios, integradas por personas y aprendiendo de ellos. Creo saber transportar esa misma gestión a la municipalidad, en este caso, a mi pueblo Teulada-Moraira.

Nos presentaremos con propuestas y mejoras, serías y útiles, con la sostenibilidad y regeneración de la política local como objetivo, ya que la actual política municipal, y desde hace años, se encuentra aparentemente estancada, con falta de iniciativas modernas y progresistas -y no sólo nominalmente-, a corto, medio y largo plazo. Para impulsar los objetivos de un partido de centro, Liberal democrático y progresista, tan necesario en la política actual, lejos de los extremos y cercanos a nuestros países vecinos europeos, aplicando políticas y métodos en beneficio de los ciudadanos de la población. 

Trabajaremos al servicio de nuestros vecinos, con escucha activa, abierta y participativa, para que nuestros impuestos recaudados, con el trabajo y sudor de todos y todas, se traduzcan en bienestar y calidad de vida para los habitantes de Teulada-Moraira.

Through a self introducing letter, Mireille Hurts, CIUDADANOS candidate for mayor of Teulada-Moraira, announces her candidacy to the population of the town.

Dear neighbours of Teulada Moraira...

On November 6, 2022, I officially accepted the responsibility of leading, as a candidate for Mayor, the list which the CIUDADANOS party will present in the next municipal elections of May 2023, in Teulada-Moraira.

This decision, on which I have contemplated for a long time, is endorsed by my total connection, for more than 30 years now, to this beloved town of Teulada-Moraira that welcomed me with open arms, making me feel at home from Day One.

When my party comrades proposed to me that I head the list, I saw the opportunity to return to this population, with gratitude, the hospitality and affection with which I have always been treated and I did not think twice, I had to accept that challenge and work for this town, of my husband’s and children’s, which has become mine over the years.

Due to my Dutch roots, I have never been able to vote in regional or national elections and issues which, among others, have encouraged me to make this decision. I have always understood the local and municipal politics without political idealism and on the contrary, I have always looked at it from the perspective of participation, work and personal sacrifice, to solve the problems of citizens and help them to live together, satisfying their most basic needs without having to resort to burdening citizens with excessive taxes.

At the beginning of 2020 I joined CIUDADANOS when, previously, I had never been part of any political force nor had I been linked to the Public Administration, but in March last year I had the honour of participating, as Ambassador (for the European citizens), in tables of debates (with 3 current topics, such as the Environment, Democracy and Human Rights and a strong EU in the world), at the European Parliament in Strasbourg. There, I was able, along with, almost 100, other colleagues (ambassadors from different EU member countries), to contribute opinions, ideas and proposals for a better future for European citizens and protect their/our values, rights and freedoms, so unique in the world (desired by many) and achieved with the sacrifices and efforts of the generations from our parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. I believe I know how to take advantage of this experience of dialogue and constructive debates (as well as other experience), to improve and regenerate municipal management, in this case, that of my town Teulada-Moraira.

I have always worked in the private sector, employed by others in medium and small companies and have been self-employed, always in the service, commercial and administrative sector. I know and understand the troubles and the efforts that companies and self-employers must make daily. Currently, and for the last 8 years, together with other colleagues, I have been dedicated to the management from Communities of Owners, an experience that has taught me to know and understand the problems of our clients/citizens who have to deal with the current economic and social problems. Thus, I have learned about team effort from a proactive attitude, at the service of others, agreeing on decisions, to manage Communities of Owners made up of persons and learning from them. I believe I know how to transfer that same management to the municipality, in this case, to my town, Teulada-Moraira.

We will prepare an electoral programme with proposals and improvements, serious and useful, with the sustainability and regeneration of local politics as an objective, since the current municipal politics seems to have stagnant for several years with a lack of modern and progressive initiatives -and not only nominally- at short, medium and long term.

We will give impetus to the objectives of a centre party, Liberal democrat and Progressive, so necessary in the current politics, far from extremes and close to our European neighbouring countries, applying policies and methods for the benefit of all citizens of the population.

We will work at the service of our neighbours, with active, open and participatory listening, so that our taxes, collected with the hard work and sweat from all, are translated into well-being and quality of life for the inhabitants of Teulada-Moraira.

Via een introductiebrief kondigt Mireille Hurts, CIUDADANOS-kandidaat voor het burgemeesterschap van Teulada-Moraira, haar kandidatuur aan de inwoners van de gemeente aan.

Beste medeburen van Teulada Moraira.

Op 6 november 2022 aanvaardde ik, officieel, de verantwoordelijkheid om, als burgemeesterskandidaat, de lijst te trekken van de partij CIUDADANOS, bij de volgende gemeenteraadsverkiezingen van Mei 2023, voor Teulada-Moraira.

Deze, weloverwogen, beslissing wordt gewaarborgd door mijn volledige verbondenheid, sinds ruim 30 jaar, met de bevolking van Teulada-Moraira welke mij met open armen verwelkomde en vanaf de eerste dag als thuis liet voelen .

Toen mijn partijgenoten mij voorstelden om de lijst te trekken, zag ik de kans om, met dankbaarheid, iets terug te doen voor de bewoners, voor de gastvrijheid en genegenheid, waarmee ik altijd ben behandeld, ik hoefde er geen twee maal over te denken, deze uitdaging moest ik aanvaarden en mij inzetten voor dit dorp, van mijn man en kinderen en welke in de loop der jaren mijn eigen is geworden.

Vanuit mijn Nederlandse roots heb ik nooit kunnen stemmen bij regionale of landelijke verkiezingen, kwesties welke mij er, onder andere, toe hebben aangezet om deze beslissing te nemen. Ik heb de lokale en gemeentelijke politiek altijd beschouwd zonder politiek idealisme, integendeel, ik heb het altijd bekeken vanuit het perspectief van participatie, inzet en persoonlijke opoffering om de problemen van burgers op te lossen en hen te helpen samen te leven en in hun meest elementaire behoeftes te voorzien, zonder de noodzaak om toevlucht te zoeken in buitensporige belastingen.

Begin 2020 sloot ik mij aan bij CIUDADANOS, voordien had ik nooit tot een politieke partij behoord of enigzins verbonden met het openbaar bestuur, maar in maart vorig jaar had ik de eer om als “ambassadeur” (van de Europese burgers) deel te nemen aan discussie tafels in het Europees Parlement in Straatsburg (met 3 actuele thema's, zoals klimaatverandering en milieu, democratie en mensenrechten en een sterke EU in de wereld). Daar kon ik samen met, bijna 100, andere "ambassadeurs", uit verschillende EU-lidstaten, meningen, ideeën en voorstellen aandragen voor een betere toekomst voor de Europese burgers en hun/onze waarden, rechten en vrijheden te beschermen, zo uniek in de wereld (en door velen gewenst), en bereikt met de opoffering en inspanning van de generaties van onze ouders, grootouders en overgrootouders. Ik denk te kunnen profiteren van deze (en andere) ervaring van dialoog en constructief debat. Voor het verbeteren en regenereren van het gemeentelijk beheer, in dit geval dat van mijn dorp Teulada-Moraira.

Nochtans heb ik altijd gewerkt in de privésector, in dienst van anderen, in het midden- en kleinbedrijf en als zelfstandige, altijd in de dienstverlenende, commerciële en administratieve sector. Ik ken de problemen en de inspanning welke dezen dagelijks moeten leveren. Momenteel, sinds 8 jaar, en samen met andere collega's, ben ik toegewijd aan het Beheer van Eigenaars Vereningen, een ervaring die mij heeft laten kennis maken met de problemen van onze klanten, burgers die te maken hebben met de huidige economische en sociale problemen. Zo heb ik van teamwork geleerd vanuit een proactieve opstelling, ten dienste van anderen, het bereiken van consensus bij overeenkomsten en beslissingen, het managen van, uit mensen bestaande, Verenigingen van Eigenaars en daaruit lessen getrokken. Ik denk te kunnen weten hoe ik dusdanig management kan overbrengen naar het gemeentelijk beheer, in dit geval mijn dorp Teulada-Moraira.

We zullen onszelf presenteren met, serieuse en nuttige, voorstellen en verbeteringen, met de duurzaamheid en regeneratie van de lokale politiek als doel, aangezien de huidige gemeentelijke politiek al jaren ogenschijnlijk stagneert blijkt, met een gebrek aan moderne en vooruitstrevende initiatieven -en niet alleen nominaal, op korte, medium en lange termijn. Om de doelstellingen te bevorderen van een centrumpartij, liberaal-democratisch en progressief, zo noodzakelijk in de huidige politiek, ver van de extremen en nabij onze aangrenzende Europese buurlanden, met het toepassen van een beleid en werkwijze ten behoeve van de burgers van de bevolking.

We zullen ten dienste staan ??van onze medeburgers, met actief, open en participerend luisteren, zodat onze geïnde belastingen, met het werk en zweet van allen, zich vertalen in het welzijn en de levenskwaliteit van de inwoners van Teulada-Moraira.
